When does the program start?

The Quran Revolution full year curriculum will commence on July 11, 2016 and will continue through July 2017.

Are there any prerequisites for taking this program?

There are no prerequisites for joining this program--you begin at a level

appropriate for you.

How long will it take to complete this course?

The duration of the program will vary based on your individual pace and progress. However, on average, most students will take about 10-12 months to complete all classes and modules.

What if I cannot make the live sessions? Will there be recordings available?

If you are unable to attend the live class sessions, then you will have access to the class recordings online in your member portal.

Once I register and have access to the portal, will it always be available to me?

Your subscription is for 1 year only. The month to month plan will give you access for the month you are in and have paid for.

If I find the program is not for me, is there a refund policy?

We offer a 30-day refund policy. If classes have commenced and you feel that Quran Revolution is not for you, then you can contact the QR team to issue a full refund at quranrevolution@almaghrib.org.

Do you progress through the levels within the one year? or is it one level per year?

The program is designed to complete all the levels in one year. Most students will be able to progress through a level in 3-4 months.

Will we receive an Ijaazah?

Upon completion of the program, there is no Ijaazah certificate however, we will provide a certification of completion of the Quran Revolution program.

How is this program different than just getting a teacher?

Quran Revolution is a one-of-a kind program with a unique learning system

specifically created by Imam Wisam to meet the needs of every kind of learner.

With a subscription to Quran Revolution, you will have access to high-quality

course videos, weekly interactive sessions with Imam Wisam, weekly recitation

submissions with personalized feedback, extra office hours for additional help,

and the flexibility to learn at your own pace. Along with these great features,

Quran Revolution is dedicated to providing a supportive Quran community

where you can connect with classmates, read together in break-out sessions

with a qualified Teaching Assistant, and track your progress in our interactive

student portal. It’s safe to say that the Quran Revolution experience is truly

one of a kind!

How much time is needed to master the program

The program is designed to be mastered within a one-year period.

What if someone has zero arabic?

Quran Revolution is made for the student with “zero arabic” experience. Our

level one course is designed to help you recognize, assemble, and construct the

Arabic letters so that you can read the Quran with ease.

How does the understanding work, will people learn to speak arabic fluently?

The Art of Understanding is a course designed for students to be able to

understand the passages of the Quran. Along with course videos and live

instruction, at the close of the program, you will have gained the ability to

complete running translation of the Quran.

Are there female teachers?

The main instructor for the course is Imam Wisam; However, we do have both male and female Teaching Assistants (TA’s) who listen to Student Submissions and provide personalized feedback.

Are there any one-to-one sessions?

The Quran Revolution approach to one-on-one sessions is very unique. You will

submit weekly recordings of your recitation, which will be evaluated by Ustadh

Wisam and the course TAs. The evaluation is similar to a one-on-one session

because it will provide personalized feedback to each student.

How do the office hours work ?

Office hours will take place every Wednesday with a live, one-hour session.

During the interactive session, you will have the opportunity to ask a course-related question for an immediate response from Ustadh Wisam. All questions will be answered on a first-come-first-serve basis.

We send our recordings to you and the team but how will we know we are doing it right?

You will submit your recording on a weekly basis and Ustadh Wisam and his TA team will send you personalised feedback based on your recitation. With the help of the course videos and feedback, you will notice gradual improvement in your recitation.

Is this appropriate for kids?

Due to the nature of the online classroom environment, it may be difficult for a

young child to stay motivated to keep up with the program. We recommend that

children 15 and above only be registered for Quran Revolution. Parents are

urged to use discretion when signing their child up for the program.

How big are the class sizes?

Class sizes will vary depending on the placement of each student and the

session they choose to attend. There will be two live sessions (with different

times to accommodate learner schedules) of each course every week. You have

the option to attend the live class that best suits your needs. Again, the class

size will vary depending on the students who attend the session.

If I am placed at Level 2 or 3, will I be able to access the previous level class videos as well?

Yes, you will be given access to the previous level class videos.

Do you have family discounts available?

Do you have other global class timings (PST or Far East Asia), as these live class timings do not work for me?

Currently, we offer two timings for live class sessions, to accommodate the different time zones. For students who cannot attend the live session, immediate recordings will be available for viewing.

If I sign up for the month to month plan but later I am able to pay for the upfront cost, can I switch plans?

You will only be able to do this for the 1st month and then can switch to the year plan and pay the difference for the upfront option only.
